Symptom control 1: pain; breathlessness; fatigue (RTH05)


Description
In this course we are looking at pain, breathlessness and fatigue. A multi professional approach is key in how we manage these symptoms. We will explore the different types of pain and pain pathways and how poly pharmacy and non pharmacological measures help to alleviate pain. Breathlessness is a very common problem for people with life limiting illnesses. In this unit we will discover how non pharmacological measures are key in helping people manage this symptom. Fatigue is experienced by the majority of people approaching end of life. With our OT we will explore how to help with this debilitating symptom. THERE IS A REQUIRED FACE TO FACE SESSION 21.01.2025 9.30-4.00 FOR THIS COURSE HELD AT THE HOSPICE Please only sign up for the course if you able to attend the face to face session at the hospice. (There are also optional online resources available on this course). We hold this course 3 times a year
